Chiara D'Ercoli

I'm a first year PhD student in the National Doctorate Program in Artificial Intelligence, and I'm supervised by prof. Pietro Liò. Currently, my research focuses on medical applications of AI, spanning from ODEs, digital twins and AI applications in Medicine Digital Twins, and RNA pathways analysis for Type 1 diabetes and Periodontitis; I am also interested in LLMs for clinical data (RNAs, scRNA, brain and cancer data). Previously, I graduated with a BSc. in Informatics and management of digital Business from the Free University of Bolzano, and then obtain an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin (strand: Intelligent Systems). I joined the Department of Computer, Electronic and Management Engineering here at Sapienza as a research assistant, only after completing a 5-months internship in industry in Rome.
